Hello!
My name is SiEun, you may also call me Shaina. I am a web/graphic designer living in and working part-time at small marketing company in Orange County, CA. I create strong visual messages which spark thought-provoking. I struggle to design a balance between style and function which is intuitively beautiful, yet boldly functional.
At work, I am an effective team player who understands both the purpose and creativity needed to execute successful collaborative projects. My work mainly focuses on Corporate Advertising Print/Web design. I am passionate about communication through the art medium, and eager to work on new projects with creative ideas.
Through my work, I also take time to help many non-profits and faith-based ministries meet physical and spiritual needs of people both around the community and here at home. I have volunteered to manage a variety of web pages for the last four years. Managing these web pages helped confirm my true passion to be in this field for the rest of my life.
I have two children and a dog named Ginger, beautiful Pembroke Welsh Corgi. When I’m not on the computer, I enjoy playing the piano, exploring new places, watching lots of movies, and walking with my laughing Ginger.
My favorite website is Pinterest.com because it gives me lots of ideas for something I need to adapt for future use. I usually get inspiration for styles to try, food to make, and activities to do with my family. I always had WordPress in my mind to learn several years ago and finally I took the class at IVC. I work hard to develop my own blog and portfolio site on WordPress entirely. I regret not having tried this site at an earlier stage of my web and graphic career! Thus, I have decided to develop all of my websites via WordPress.
